Opportunities NB is proud to renew our NB Proud Award for 2018. New Brunswick colleges and universities are at the forefront of technology and are providing the skills to students that employers need in our changing economy. Opportunities NB is committed to creating new wealth and opportunities to help talented people stay in New Brunswick. There are many exciting new markets emerging, doors opening for entrepreneurs, and technology advances to connect the world; these are all available right here. This award is focused on helping New Brunswick students live and work in the province following graduation.
We are looking for students who exemplify the idea of NB Proud; youth with a desire to pursue their passion in New Brunswick along with a positive view of the future for themselves and the province.
ONB will present 12 awards for $1,000 each to New Brunswick students entering their first year of post-secondary education in the province.
In order to apply, students must answer the following questions in a 200-250 word essay:
